He went from a scrawny kid with constant headaches to a healthy strong man who once swam a mile towing 13 rowboats filled with 76 people. Incredible gentleman who continues to inspire me! May he rest in peace.

50’s bodybuilders looked so good because they did exercises that accentuated the ideal physique .. big arms chest and shoulders with small waist. Not just mindlessly lifting weights with no regard for how they shape your body like the fitness guys say today

His brother did not follow Jacks advice and lived to the age of 97! It seems that Jack went downhill after his heart surgery and his "healthy" system could not fight off pneumonia!

My gym needs an organ player while I do my reps.

I often wonder how Jack maintained hiis positivity while witnessing the national health decline, despite his huge efforts. Still, how much worse would things have been without him?

Holy cow......50 years later and we're even sicker and unwell..... Can you imagine America back then in Jack's day ......guess I'm really showing my advanced age!

I watched him growing up the jack LaLane show

Just turned 60. Been fairly reg. Exerciser Most of my adult life. HATED Having to go so long without a gym visit during covid shutdown. But watching this i wish i could “Turn Back de Clock” more than any other instance of regrets. I reg do leg lifts, pushups and whatever i can think of. But Some of those moves…. Probly not since Navy bootcamp!(19). But i could if only barely, do em all. This iz first time watching a whole show. Im gonna convince my usual P. Fitness gym to devote one of thr. Usual 20(!) TVs to showing these vids! Get all them young ppl whove Never herd of him to be inspired. C what happens

My mother watched Jack weekly for years. She never gained over 10 lbs over her weight from her 20/30's. She was a dietitian, homemaker and wife. Jack was the real deal
